AFDO was funded by FaHCSIA to undertake a project looking at the Impact of Ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of People with Disability in Australia. AFDO auspiced People With Disability Australia (PWD) to conduct consultations and prepare a report, which has now been submitted to FaHCSIA. The report highlights some key issues around Indigenous Australians with Disabilities and highlights the proposed benefits for Australia to quickly ratify the Convention.
